Coupang is Korea's answer to Amazon. It offers same day delivery and tens of millions of products at prices that make US shoppers jealous. The catch: Coupang's Rocket Delivery only covers South Korean addresses. If you try to enter a US address at checkout it simply won't work.
The good news: there is a clean workaround. It does not need a Korean account or card or phone number.

Why Coupang Doesn't Ship Internationally
Coupang's entire business model is built around speed. Rocket Delivery promises next day or same day delivery within Korea through a massive domestic logistics network. International shipping would break that model entirely.
Coupang does have a global service called Coupang Global. But it covers a limited list of countries (mainly Southeast Asia and some European markets). It does not include the United States.
As of July 2026 the United States is not on Coupang's international shipping list. There is no official Coupang US delivery option.
How to Get Coupang Delivered to the US (Step by Step)

What's Worth Buying on Coupang?
Coupang carries basically everything sold in Korea. The best value for US shoppers:
- Korean skincare and beauty: brands like COSRX · Some By Mi · Innisfree · Anua at Korean retail prices. Often 30 to 50% below US reseller prices
- Korean food and snacks: Samyang ramen and Korean instant foods and snacks you can’t find in US stores
- Electronics accessories: Korean market phone cases and cables and gadgets. Often priced lower than Amazon
- K-pop merchandise: albums and photocard sets and fan goods before they sell out internationally
- Korean health supplements: red ginseng and collagen products and Korean health brands
Tip: Coupang's Rocket Fresh service delivers Korean groceries. These aren't suitable for international shipping. Most other items on Rocket Delivery are fine to buy and ship.

Does Coupang ship to the USA in 2026?
Coupang Rocket Delivery only works inside Korea. Coupang Global / Coupang International is limited and often not the same as the Korean catalog.

What about customs and import duties?
Since 29 August 2025 the US has suspended its $800 de minimis exemption for all countries. Personal Coupang orders no longer enter duty free automatically. Duty can apply at any order value. The rate depends on the item and where it was made. Any duty is paid by you on delivery.
Can I return a Coupang item if there is a problem?
If we spot a problem during inspection we handle the return with the seller in Korea before it ships. That is far easier than after it has crossed the ocean. Once it has shipped internationally a return to Coupang is usually not practical.
Is Coupang cheaper than buying Korean products on Amazon?
Usually yes. Korean products on Amazon often carry a 40 to 80% markup over Korean retail. Whether you still save after our fee and shipping depends on order value. The more you buy in one box the better it works out.
